RMCO's Officers and Staff

Stephen Saunders, President and founder of RMCO. Stephen is former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior over the National Park Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He also served on congressional staffs as executive director of a House Democratic Caucus organization, staff director to two members of the House, and a member of the staffs of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and the House Commitee on Appropriations; as national policy director in one presidential campaign and senor policy advisor in another; and as manager of statewide and congressional political campaigns in Colorado. Tom Easley, Director of Programs. Tom is the former director of statewide programs for Colorado State Parks, where he managed policy, planning, resource stewardship, and other programs. He also has worked as a state lobbyist on natural resource issues for progressive organizations and as wilderness coordinator for a statewide environmental coalition. Suzanne Farver, Director of Outreach. Suzanne is a member of the board of trustees of Rocky Mountain Institute, an internationally prominent "think-and-do tank" on energy and resource efficiency. She also is a sustainability consultant and lecturer, lawyer, and former nonprofit manager. Suzanne has a law degree from the University of Denver and a masters degree in environmental management from Harvard University. Faye Diamond, Secretary-Treasurer of RMCO, works in her regular job at RBI Strategy and Research, a Denver-based political research and consulting firm.
